our daily bible verse
"We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: 'The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.' For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope."

Missionaries WE SUPPORT
make a contribution
New Life Assembly of God exists for the glory of God. We believe that, through the preaching of the Gospel, men and women will experience the saving and transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to see Jesus Christ build His church, a living and thriving fellowship of believers using all their gifts and talents for the betterment of our community.
We will work hard to meet not only the spiritual needs of those to whom we minister but also their physical, mental, and emotional needs.

As an Assembly of God church, we have four "core beliefs" that are the main motivation and inspiration behind everything we do.
These include:
Salvation. We believe that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins through his death on the cross and that the gift of salvation is for anyone to receive. Romans 3:23 emphasizes "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". This tells us that everyone, no matter where they are from, who they are, or how good of a person they think they are- is in need of salvation through faith in Christ alone. The good news about salvation can be found in Romans 10:13, which explains that "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” We believe that anyone who puts their faith in Jesus will experience His transformative saving power, and will find an eternal home in heaven!
Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is what empowers us in the church to be witnesses for Christ. We believe that the promise Jesus gave to His followers, that they would receive power from on high to be his witnesses, is still just as relevant today. Acts 2:1-13 tells the story of the day of Pentecost when the followers were baptized with the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit resides in us following our salvation, and fuels our passion and power as we share the gospel message to our surrounding community and the world.
Divine Healing. We believe in the power of prayer, and in the sovereignty of God with divine healing. Throughout the New Testament, stories of Jesus ministering compassionately and healing the sick are prevalent. The beginning of James 5:13 states: "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray". We follow this example, believing that that same healing power is at work today- we only need to pray in faith, and trust in God's sovereignty over the outcome.
The Second Coming of Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the grave after his crucifixion and burial and that he will return again. However, "no one knows the day or hour" (Matthew 24:36) in which that will occur.
Until then, it is the mission of our church to help others restore and celebrate their own personal relationship with God.
Our beliefs are taken from the Bible. We believe all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; but all are justified freely by God's grace through redemption that is in Christ Jesus. We exhort believers to live in moral purity. Aware of the claims of God on every aspect of our lives, we emphasize our call to holiness. We embrace unbelievers, holding no malice toward any, and condemn all forms of hatred.
Like with any church, our facilities are private property. We have particular policies for any who attend. We are not under a legal requirement for public accommodation.
We believe the Bible affirms a consistent ideal for sexual expression, specifically chastity for single people and fidelity for the married. Marriage is a permanent, exclusive conjugal union of one man and one woman joined for the sake of uniting mother, father and child where God intends. Sexual acts outside marriage are prohibited as sinful including adultery, fornication, incest, bestiality, pornography, prostitution, voyeurism, pedophilia, exhibitionism, sodomy and polygamy. We believe the Bible makes no affirmation of homosexual activity, same-sex marriage or changes in sexual identity.
We believe God created humans in His image, male and female, sexually different but with equal personal dignity. Our traditional pronoun usage reflects this belief and therefore special requests of the contrary will be declined. We discourage any attempt to physically change or alter a person's predominant biological sex.
